Purpose of the foundation to preserve

Annechiena Willemiena

The main purpose of the foundation is to restore Annechiena Willemiena and bring her back to the original state as much as possible.

Furthermore we want to give interested people a chance to become aware of the way of transportation over water in The Netherlands in the 19th and 20th century. We do so by:

*Giving tours and info aboard the ship *Organizing educational meetings aboard *Publishing a newsletter

We also want to give Sponsors the unique opportunaty to embark for a sailing trip on this beautiful ship.

Finally the preserverance will depend on gifts for a great deal and we hope to get tips for historical research.
